The key advantage to the Reel Electric reel is its clutch-less direct drive brushless motor technology. This eliminates the need for carbon drag washers completely. Our advanced motor controller uses our active regenerative braking to deliver super smooth drag and super most accurate torque by simply adjusting the control dial. The reel also supports a removable spool for switching between deep drop line, dredge line and even kite fishing.
